6/5/2024

If your motorcycle is not listed on the MotoSPEC homepage, it may be that a chassis file for that model has not yet been released.  Please request your motorcycle in your trial application and it will help indicate models of interest for current and future MotoSPEC customers.
If you have access to factory chassis drawings and wish to specify the chassis yourself, please note that in your application for a free trial.

Use of MotoSPEC is limited to models that have been measured directly, or where factory or FIM drawings are available from the user.  Confidential guidance and advice is provided to assist the user correctly specify the motorcycle.

Accurate measurements of the motorcycle components are required to perform analysis of the chassis characteristics.  A portable Coordinate Measuring Machine is used to obtain the measurements provided with MotoSPEC.  It is calibrated to less than 0.05 mm, and used with a  process developed and refined to provide the most accurate measurement possible of all the chassis components.

Unfortunately, the accuracy required is not possible with a tape measure or other basic tools.  Especially when it comes to analysis of the linkage - including the relative positions of the swingarm pivot, linkage and shock mounts - accurate measurements are essential.
