MotoSPEC is SOFTWARE for OPTIMIZING MOTORCYCLE SUSPENSION and CHASSIS GEOMETRY.
MotoSPEC has been designed with a
SIMPLE INTERFACE and CLEAR OUTPUTS,
to assist motorcycle manufacturers, tuners and race teams, to make
QUICK and INFORMED DECISIONS.
A fully-functional trial license with chassis data is available on request.

MotoSPEC builds a virtual motorcycle, starting from the frame and swingarm geometry.
The suspension components - including triple clamps, forks, shock and linkage mount off the frame and swingarm, .
Steering and pivot adjustments modify the relationships between all these components.
'Elastic' components (main springs, topout springs, bump rubbers, air springs) are specified.
Specifying the front and rear suspension compression results in the calculation of the geometry, wheel forces and wheel rates.
MotoSPEC is a 'quasi-static' model of the motorcycle, allowing geometry and suspension characteristics to be examined and setup variations to be investigated.
All chassis dimensions and specifications are editable. Aftermarket components like yokes and linkages can be easily measured and input by the user. MotoSPEC can also be used to design new components. For example, rear suspension linkages can be designed to obtain the desired motion ratio characteristics while also observing their effect on the chassis geometry.

Chassis dimensions for most sportbikes are provided, including the following models:
The following off-road and motocross models are also available:
Many older models are also available.
MotoSPEC runs on Windows 8.1 or 10, on your PC or Mac. |
