RECENTLY ADDED: 2024 KTM 990 DUKE

​The 2024 990 Duke has been measured and added to the MotoSPEC chassis library.

The 2024 990 Duke is very similar to the 2021 890 Duke previously measured.  The hardpoint coordinates of the 990 frame and swingarm are essentially identical to those of the 890 Duke, considering manufacturing tolerances.
As with the the 890, the countershaft sprocket of the 990 Duke is positioned below the pivot.

The chassis of the 890 Duke was unique in that the swingarm pivots and chain run were outboard of the frame.  See the image below. 

The new 990 Duke frame has been designed with increased stiffness.  The swingarm pivots and chain run are now within the frame, as is typical for most motorcycles.

The MotoSPEC file contains the following column specifications:

1. Stock suspension specification with progressive rear spring
2. WP APEX PRO 6650 fork cartridge and APEX PRO 6746 shock, with rates for 75-85 kg riders
3. WP APEX PRO 6650 fork cartridge and APEX PRO 6746 shock, with rates for 85-95 kg riders
